The main camp I would like ALL wrestlers to attend is the CMU Team Camp from July 8-11. This is as much a "team building" event as it is a technique camp. We will likely also have wrestlers from other schools, such as Fitz, Cousino, Royal Oak, DeLasalle, etc.
In addition to this camp, we will be teaming up with Fitz on two other camps. Our primary focus will be with the Boudro Camp in St. Ignace, MI, which will be from June 17-20, 2018. Fitz will have their primary focus with the Jordan Camp in Urbana, OH, which will take place from June 24-28. We anticipate mostly Mott wrestlers at Boudro, with a few Fitz wrestlers. Conversely, Fitz will take a team to Jordan and we can send along a few wrestlers with them.
The Boudro Camp takes place in St. Ignace from June 17-20, 2018. We can take between 10-15 wrestlers. The cost for this camp is $295. This camp is an opportunity to get good technique insturction, 10 varsity matches and a trip to Mackinac Island. You stay in hotels, eat in restaurants and commute on shuttle buses to and from the camp. It is a lot of fun.
We will be having a pre-camp meeting at Coach Salyers house on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 6pm. We will sign registration forms and collect checks for the camp and pass out the camp schedule and a list of things to bring to camp. Picnic food will be available for those in attendance.

Fitzgerald HS is taking a team to this camp and up to 5 of our wrestlers are welcome to join them. It will take place from June 24-28 in Urbana, OH. I have not been to this camp, but have heard good things about it. My understanding is that it is very good for improving your takedown techniques. I will post more information on this camp as it becomes available.
We will be attending Team Camp at CMU from July 8-11, 2017. We will leave from Warren Mott on Sunday, July 8th at 8am. On Friday, June 29th, at 6pm we will be having a meeting at Coach Salyers' house to collect checks for the camp.
COST: You will be asked to pay $200 of the $350 cost. The proceeds from our fundraisers will be used to offset the remaining cost via the club. If you havent been involved in the golf outing or the bowling fundraiser in the past, I hope you will consider doing so in the future, as that is where the money comes from to pay the difference!
PRIOR TO THE MEETING ON JUNE 29th: You need to follow the link below and register online for the camp. You will need to enter credit card information, but it will not charge your credit card. When you enter the high school, you cannot just type Warren Mott...you need to select it from the drop down menu. When you are finished, write down your confirmation number and have it for Coach Salyers at the meeting on June 29th.
AT THE MEETING ON JUNE 29TH: The meeting is at Coach Salyers house (if you dont know where he lives, call or text him). We will have hotdogs, potato salad and pop for a light dinner I will hand out gear a gear list and schedule for the camp. We will pick up checks to get in the bank so I can pay with a single check when we arrive at camp. Checks should be made payable to Marauder Wrestling Club in the amount of $200.
DRIVERS: We have three coaches going to the camp and all three can drive. I expect to have around 15-20 campers, which means we will need three more cars going to camp to get all the kids and their gear up there. If you can drive up on Sunday, or come pick up on Wednesday, please let me know at the meeting. The club can help with gas costs for any driver.
