The 7th Annual Golf Outing will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Bello Woods Golf Course. We currently have approximately 100 golfers confirmed and can accommodate another 44 to fill the course.
Proceeds from the outing goes to fund summer camps, spirit wear, singlets, warm ups, throwing dummies, coaching fees and other items necessary to run a club and help out a team. PLEASE get a few of your friends and join us. Print out the Golf Flyer and Registration Form and get it to Coach Salyers with your check.....or sponsor a hole.....or donate an item for the raffle. Whatever you can do to help will be appreciated!

There are less than two weeks left before the Fifth Annual Marauder Golf Outing on June 2, 2012. We currently have 21 foursomes who have indicated they will again participate. In order to receive the price break at the Golf Course and maximize our fundraising efforts, we need to have at least 100 golfers. In short, we need to have another 4-5 foursomes!! Please consider joining us by getting a foursome together and contacting Coach Salyers or Coach Skop. We are required to let the golf course know our numbers by no later than Saturday, May 26, 2012....so don't delay!

The first fundraiser of the season is a Matress and Sheet sale. The sale will take place at Warren Mott on March 24, 2012 from 10am-4pm in the gym.
If you are not in the market for a matress, consider the sheets. I have not purchased them before, but from all reports they are very nice 1200 count linen sheets for the very low price of $38.00 per set. The team gets $10 per set of sheets sold. You order the sheets online and pick them up at the high school on the day of the sale.

The date has been selected for the Fifth Annual Golf Outing. On May 21, 2011 we will again hold the Golf Outing at the Romeo Golf Course (32 Mile Road, East of M-53). In order for this to be a successful outing, we need to have at least 80 golfers. Please try to get a foursome or two and join us.
If you are not a golfer, or cannot attend for some other reason, please consider sponsoring a hole or asking your employer to sponsor a hole. If we are to continue making progress as a wrestling program, we need to support the program with the necessary funds. Funds will be used to acquire and replace singlets, warm-ups and other equipment, as well as subsidize off-season competition, camps and clinics.
We are asking each family to either bring a foursome to the golf outing or provide a hole sponsor. For details, click on the link below:

The Bowling Fundraiser last night was a HUGE success! We had 130 bowlers and an abundance of folks that just came out to support the club by participating in the raffle and 50-50 drawings. Our goal was to raise $2,000 from the event and we exceeded that goal, raising just short of $3,000!
Thanks to all who participated and/or donated to the raffle. In particular: Mrs. Salyers for all she did setting up the raffle; Tom & Bobbi Soard for their efforts selling raffle and 50-50 tickets; Mike Salyers for his help in selling tickets. Also, thanks to Vivio's Restaurant, Hooters of Troy, Bill & Karen Ramsey and all others who donated to the Raffle.
It was a great time and a great success!

The cupboards are barren, the coffers are low and we are moving into the most expensive part of the year for our wrestling program. We NEED your help! Fortunately, the help we need is the kind of help that is fun to give. Simply bring a few of your friends and join us for the Marauder Wrestling Club's Bowling Fundraiser on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Astro Lanes (S of 14 Mile on John R). Joining the Marauder Wrestling Family for a night of fun and frivolity is well worth the modest cost of $20.00 per person...and you get 3 games of 9-pin No Tap and pizza and pop.
The goal we have set is to raise $2,000.00 from this fundraiser. To do that we need for every Marauder Wrestling family to bring EIGHT bowlers. Please set that as your goal and don't be afraid to bring even more bowlers!

The Marauder Wrestling Program (both high school and youth) will hold a Bowling Fundraiser this Saturday night at Astro Lanes. The proceeds of the fundraiser will help defer the costs associated with running the program, including minimizing the impact of "pay to play," acquiring new equipment for the wrestling room (clocks, throwing & takedown dummies, etc), off-setting the cost of "spirit wear" and purchasing new singlets. PLEASE grab a couple of friends and come out on Saturday night for three games of "9 pin no tap" bowling, pizza and pop....all for only $20.00. The details for the golf outing have finally been nailed down and we are pleased to report that the Third Annual Marauder Wrestling Golf Outing will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Romeo Golf & Country Club (32 Mile Road just East of Van Dyke). This was changed from Saturday, June 12th to accomodate graduation ceremonies that are scheduled for that day.
The proceeds from this outing provides the lion's share of the revenues for the summer camp subsidies and the basic operating funds for the youth program. We need EVERY WRESTLER to be involved in this outing. If every wrestler can impose upon their family and friends to provide a foursome for the outing, we will have 120 golfers! Our best showing thus far has been the 90 golfers we had our first year.

The Marauder Wrestling Club recently locked in two dates for their off-season fundraisers. These fundraisers help support Marauder Wrestling Club wrestlers in the off-season tournament schedule and offset some of the costs for Summer Wrestling Camps.
FIRST UP is the Bowling Fundraiser, which will be held at Astro Lanes on April 17, 2010. WE NEED HELP FOR THIS EVENT. While we have a number of folks that will run the actual event, we need friends and family to come out and bowl. We also need donations for the raffle. If you can donate an item or know someone who can donate an item, it will help increase the overall proceeds generated.

The Marauder Wrestling Club has set May 16, 2009 as the date for its Third Annual Marauder Golf Outing. The fundraiser will once again be held at the Romeo Golf & Country Club on 32 Mile Road just East of Van Dyke. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf, 4 complimentary beverages on the course, hot dog at the turn and a steak dinner upon completion of golf and two hours of open bar. Entertainment will include 50-50 raffles, closest to the pin competitions and skins games.
If you are a member of the wrestling club, or a fan of wrestling, come join us. The cost to join in the fun and frivolitry is a meager $100.00 per golfer.

The 2009 Marauder Wrestling Bowling Fundraiser has been scheduled for Universal Lanes on Saturday, January 24, 2009. We will begin checking in bowlers at 8:15 pm for a probable start time of 9:00 pm. Cost for the event is $20.00 per bowler, which includes three games of bowling, shoe rental and a pizza and pop dinner. We will also have 50-50 raffle as well as several prize raffles.
The proceeds of this event will support the growth of our youth club, as well as subsidize young wrestlers who wish to attend summer wrestling camps and other expenses related to the Marauder Wrestling program. In other words, it helps all of us!!
So dust off your bowling ball, call your friends and try to fill a lane or two for an evening of fun and frivolity.

The Second Annual Marauder Wrestling Club Golf Outing was held on May 19, 2008 at the Romeo Golf Course. The event was a raving success, with 108 golfers in attendance - up from only 52 golfers last year! By all reports, everyone enjoyed themselves and are intent on returning next year.
With a lot of help from the Salyers, Upton, Skop and Haberski families, as well as countless other friends of the program, MWC raised funds for camps, uniforms, tournament attendance and other equipment for the club.

Marauder Wrestling Club held its Second Annual Bowling Fundraiser on April 19, 2008. The event, held at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, was a considerable success. The club fielded 97 bowlers and, from all reports, "a good time was had by all!" In addition to bowling, the club raffled off prizes and held a 50-50 raffle.
When the final numbers were in, the club netted $1,421.00, which will be used for MWC singlets, competition fees, camp fee assistance and other club related expenses.
The next fundraiser scheduled is the team golf outing, which will be held on May 19, 2008 at Romeo Golf Course (32 Mile & M-53). Join us for more fun and frivolitry!
